Durham Language Café (formerly Franco-German)
WHAT: This particular language Café provides the opportunity for French, German, Italian and Spanish speakers of all abilities and all ages to practise their skills in a friendly and relaxed environment. The aim of the Café is to allow you to share your experiences of each language with others and to provide a comfortable learning environment for those who wish to improve.
WHO: The café is organised by members of Durham's Modern Languages and Cultures departments as well as Durham's Centre for Foreign Language Study.
WHERE: The language Café tales place at different venues throughout Durham (past venues have included the Gala Theatre Café, Elvet Riverside and Durham Students' Union). Feel free to go along and have a multilingual chat over a cup of coffee!
WHEN: The cafés start at 6:00pm and run until 8:00pm. They usually take place every second month.
